Counts checked ·
Signatures on the listed petitions. One person can sign several petitions. This total adds signatures from those petitions. Signers may be students or other supporters. Group membership and protest attendance each have their own measure.
This starter list highlights selected campaigns and their different requests. Groups lead their own campaigns; links send you to the original organizers.
NUMBERS THAT MEAN WHAT THEY SAY
Count the action.
Keep the credit.
Check the source.
We record the public count shown by the petition platform or original organizer, with a source link and the date checked.
Keep counts separate.
Signatures, attendance and group membership each measure different activity. Each has its own label. The same event listed by two groups counts once.
Leave gaps visible.
If a count is unavailable, we say so. We add it when we can check the original source.
How the total is counted
The signature total adds the public counts from four listed petitions. People can sign several petitions, and signers may be students or other supporters. Each petition has its own request.
Shares, views, RSVPs, student votes, group membership and attendance are separate measures. This total uses public petition counts only. Individual signers’ and members’ names stay with the original platforms and groups.
Each petition counts once, even when several groups link to it. Federations and member unions appear as individual listings. Events carry their dates and are labelled as announced actions or past votes.
We checked these counts by hand on the date shown. Follow the original pages for current numbers and activities.
