SMALL MONTHLY SUPPORT

Help take
Ontario
to court.

We’re challenging how Ontario handled student complaints and government records. We kept the correspondence, obtained the Ministry’s records and built our case. Small monthly support would help with legal advice, case costs and family bills.

Help the little guy fight the big guy. Choose what works for you; custom and one-time support are welcome.

WHY WE’RE ASKING

We’re exhausted.
We’re still here.

Members of our family were students at a career college. We asked Ontario’s college regulator to check whether the college followed the rules protecting students.

We kept the correspondence and obtained government records. A January assessment went to manager review; we received no decision then. Months later, the college used the lack of a Ministry finding against it to oppose our family member’s request for protection.

On June 18, the college gave the student until the next morning to state her funding plans. Declining OSAP meant arranging payment of the remaining tuition. The Ministry complaint was still open.

We’ve built our case about how the Ministry handled the complaints and records. Ontario has received our formal notice. Filing is the next step.

A FEW STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before you give.

Who would receive the money?

This is personal support for the Wilton family, for legal help, case costs and everyday family bills. Before payments open, we’ll publish the exact recipient and how the money will be managed.

Can I give once or choose a different amount?

Yes. Monthly is the suggested option. One-time support and custom amounts are welcome, including amounts above the presets. All options are in Canadian dollars.

How would monthly support work?

It would repeat each month until cancelled. We’ll publish clear cancellation instructions before payments open.

We plan a short monthly update and a review after the first three months. We’ll review sooner if the case or our circumstances change substantially. Monthly payments would continue until cancelled.

What case would I be supporting?

Our case concerns how the Ministry handled our family member’s student complaints and government records. We allege misfeasance in public office: deliberately unlawful conduct by officials who knew it was unlawful and likely to cause harm, or recklessly disregarded both. Support would go to the family’s legal work, case costs and ordinary bills.

Is this a charity?

No. Personal support would not qualify for a charitable tax receipt. It would not buy goods, services, influence over the case or a share of any recovery. We do not promise repayment.

Can I donate right now?

Payments are not open yet. You can try the amounts and review your choice here. This preview does not collect payment details, take money or create a subscription.

The recipient, cancellation, refund and unused-money terms will be published before contributions begin.
